• First, decide what you want your website URL to be if you don't already have one.

In addition to that, think about what content you'll want on your website. Empty websites don't sell much. Too much information bores the visitor unless it's necessary.

Next, I'll think up some cool design. Then I'll design a site prototype for you to look at and approve. Here we can make changes, alter display or just start over with a new design. This is about an 8-10 hour project for a small website with less than 15 pages. Typically, I charge $40-$50 an hour depending on the project. This is about half of what you'll find elsewhere.

Lastly, I'll start putting the pages together with the content you've provided. If you don't have much or many ideas, I can help. Then, we'll publish your website to the world.

All of my websites have statistics monitoring attached for free so you always know what pages are being viewed and where potential problems may be. We'll also know what people are searching for to get to your site and what they search for on your website. I can also help you advertise your site on search engines, Google Maps and more.

It all costs about $45 an hour. Don't let that price scare you though; in this industry, that's cheap. I do it cheap because I love making websites. You can likely expect to pay less than $800 initially (that does vary, of course -- it is just an average after all).
